KOBAN Columbia Inc. is funded partly through an annual grant from the Milton S. Eisenhower Foundation, based in Washington, D.C. The Eisenhower Foundation makes grants available in an effort to make communities across the country safer places to live. Columbia was selected as one of eight new KOBAN sites.

Our approach is evaluated and compared to other foundation-funded sites around the country.  From the evaluation, the foundation will share information with communities across the nation and other parts of the world, regarding best practices.
