Under the command of Captain M.J. Hendrix, The Columbia Police Department South Region encompasses neighborhoods including:

Shandon, Rosewood Community, Melrose Heights, 5 Points, Forest Hills, Heathwood, Hampton Park, Waverly, Woodcreek Farms, and Deerwood.

Officers from the Columbia Police Department, South Region  Division have teamed together to help provide much needed school supplies for the many neglected and abused children, that attend the Carolina Children's Home.
